TMA- Technology Management Associates

TMA - Technology Management Associates, an Ottawa-based firm, has helped many clients over the years with technology challenges — ranging from R&D strategic planning, technology transfer, technology commercialization, project development and technical training, to managing IT projects in Eastern Europe and funding of joint ventures and development projects.

André Potworowski, president of TMA, is a consultant and facilitator in management of technology, the theory and practice of using technology to meet the strategic objectives of an organization. He has consulted to government departments in Canada and Europe, hi-tech firms, and global technology companies.  André is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa and teaches innovation and technology management in the MBA and the executive MBA programs.  André is a trained facilitator in the creative problem solving process, Simplex, as well as being an associate of the Center for Research in Applied Creativity.

With fluency in both English and French, André is a valuable asset to the Courses by Wire team on projects that involve Canada's two official languages.

Joel Singer, partner, holds an undergraduate and graduate degree in economics, and a law degree, all from the University of California. Prior to co-founding the firm, Joel worked as an attorney representing numerous consumer and environmental groups before regulatory bodies in the State of California.

Dave Watts, partner, holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Planning from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and a Masters Degree from York University in Toronto. Dave has over 15 years of experience in the electricity industry in the areas of customer/stakeholder relations and consultation, strategic planning, communications, and regulatory affairs.

Basadur Applied Creativity

Dr. Basadur is a recognized world leader in the field of applied creativity with years of experience in building creative thinking, innovation and problem solving capabilities across organizations.

Courses by Wire and Dr. Min Basadur are involved in an ongoing research project on the effectiveness of e-learning to develop creative thinking skills.
